Safety & Visitor Guidance for your Upcoming Appointment
Charlotte Radiology continues to monitor local/state/federal regulations, local hospital requirements, and CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of all our patients and visitors.
Masks are now OPTIONAL for all our patients, visitors, staff and providers in most cases. Masks will continue to be provided if you choose to wear one.
Charlotte Radiology continues with its heightened cleaning and disinfecting measures throughout the facility and of all equipment between patient use. All our employees and providers follow best practices including wearing appropriate PPE and a strict focus on hand hygiene.
Visitor Policy:
Charlotte Radiology cares about your safety and aims to provide high quality care to all patients. For these reasons, please follow our visitor restrictions as identified for each service line below. If a patient shows up and cannot abide by these restrictions, the patient will be asked to reschedule their appointment to another time.
Carolinas Imaging Services (CIS), Vein, and Vascular & Interventional Services:
- The number of people attending each appointment is to be limited to the fewest possible companions or caregivers and no unsupervised children under the age of 12.
- Due to limited spacing at our locations, all facilities are limited to 1 visitor. Visitors are not permitted in the exam or treatment areas unless the patient requires specialized support.
- Children who are not being seen as patients are not permitted in the treatment areas and cannot be left unattended in the waiting area under any circumstances.
- For children 12 years and older, the parent will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability Agreement for children who are left in the waiting room unsupervised during a patient’s examination.
Mammography:
- Due to limited spacing at our locations, all Mammography facilities are limited to 1 visitor and NO children under the age of 12 are allowed. Visitors are not permitted in the exam treatment areas unless the patient requires specialized support.
- For children 12 years and older, the parent will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability Agreement for children who are left in the waiting room unsupervised during a patient’s examination.
